We founded DefrostX with one simple understanding: we've all forgotten to take the meat out of the freezer.

Spontaneous meals became a pre-planning project. Cold water, microwave, or half an hour of frustration by the sink – none of the options really worked.

So we set out to find a solution. What we found was a technology that high-end restaurants and super-chefs in Japan and China have been using for years – a combination of plasma and UVC that thaws food in minutes, locks in juices, and disinfects simultaneously.

We took this technology, adapted it for the Israeli home, and created a product that feels like your professional butcher is in the kitchen 24/7.
